The second phase consists of another call for project proposals under Horizon Europe. The Commission set aside €132 million for this. It will be launched on the 17th of January 2023
The call will be organised by the Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU). They will be accepting three types of proposals:
- Research for technology advancements with the objective of delivering real-life networks in a long-term period of time.
- Smart Networks and Services system enablers and proof of concepts (PoCs) with a target to further develop Europe wide experimental infrastructure.
- Large-scale Smart Networks and Services trials and pilots with verticals, focusing on priorities less covered in the previous call, namely: automotive health, smart cities, farming or education.
An Information Day on the SNS Call will be jointly organised by the SNS JU, the European Commission and the 6GIA and will take place on 23rd January 2023, 10:00 – 13:00 CET, as an online event.
