Estonian operator Telia says it now operates 204 5G base stations and is using its newly acquired spectrum licences in the 3.6 GHz band.
Telia says it has the most extensive 5G coverage in Estonia. It says its 5G infrastructure now covers “almost all major cities and county centres, as well as many small towns and municipal centres”.
The company also says it’s using spectrum in the 3.6 GHz band which it acquired at the country’s recent auction. It says this band will provide better capacity as well as higher speeds and pave the way for new use-cases.
The company has also published a map which displays how extensive its 5G coverage is. This can be viewed here.
