Lithuanian regulator RRT has confirmed that it has sold all licences on offer in the band.
A total of 300 MHz was sold to the country’s three national operators Tele2, Telia and Bite. The 3.6 GHz band is an important 5G pioneer band.
Tele2 and Bite purchased their licences at the reserve price of €3 million while Telia paid €7 million. Licence terms will require operators to deploy 5G services in at least one city by 2023. All towns and built-up areas will need to be covered by 2030.
