La Défense in Paris is inviting bids for projects to test 5G in the 26 GHz band.
Paris La Défense says it will open two lots of bids. The first lot is intended for projects that hope to test the feasibility and viability of a carrier-neutral 5G network. Meanwhile, the second lot targets projects exploring new innovative use cases in the 26 GHz band.
The first lot will be accepting bids until September 26 while the second lot will accept submissions until October 24.
Projects will use La Défense’s experimental 26 GHz band licences which were awarded in 2019.
