The Maltese telecom company Epic (formerly Vodafone Malta) has now launched its 5G network.
Epic has become the second telecoms company in the country to launch 5G services. Melita was the first to launch nationwide 5G in May of this year.
Epic’s network will be deployed in the inner harbour area of Valletta. It is part of the companies €40m infrastructure investment.
Addressing the media at the launch, Epic CEO Tamas Banyai said “Our customers will enjoy greater bandwidth as well as faster and reliable internet connectivity wherever they are.”
