The 5G Observatory has published a new report which gives readers an updated overview of major new developments in Europe regarding 5G. The report is available for download here.
The 14th quarterly report covers all the latest developments towards EU 5G targets and policies, as well as international trends.
The report highlights that all 27 EU Member States have now rolled out commercial 5G services. This was a major target in the 5G Action Plan.
Also included in this report is a new section called “Explorations and reflections” which examines key issues related to achieving 5G policy goals. This quarter we investigate geographic coverage goals and those related to transport paths. The chapter on OpenRAN has also been expanded.
As well as publishing this report, the 5G Observatory will continue to publish regular news bulletins on its website. You can sign up for the Observatory’s weekly newsletter service here.
