The 5G Observatory has published its latest report which gives readers an overview of 5G developments within the EU and internationally.
The 16th iteration of the report is available for download here. Report 16 covers recent 5G spectrum auctions in Belgium and Slovakia. In addition, the report charts new EU-level developments such as the political agreement reached on the Path to Digital Decade policy programme.
Report 16 also features a new editorial analysis on the challenge of measuring 5G deployment and progress across countries and operators. This editorial considers what metric can best measure 5G progress, and assesses the consistency of publically available data on 5G coverage, download speeds and the extent of private network deployments.
The newly updated interactive 5G Observatory scoreboard is also available on the website. The European scoreboard can be found here, and the international scoreboard can be found here.
