Telefónica , Nokia , TELDAT and Avanza , with the collaboration of the City of Segovia , launched a 5G demonstrator of 4K UHD TV in a moving bus in Spain.
The vehicule was equiped with three 4K TV screens installed by Telefónica and Avanza, connected to a 4K TV decoder designed by Nokia that connects via the Telefónica mobile network to the hosted video server in the Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) supplied by Nokia. TELDAT has provided a high-performance mobile router enabling a stable and continuous connection with the required quality for real-time transmission of 4K video.
The prototype will stay operational until September 2019.
