The Slovenian operator has begun work on the EU-funded 5G-ADRIA project.
Together with Telemach Croatia, DARS and the University of Ljubljana, Telemach Slovenia has begun work on the project, which is being funded by the European Commission’s Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) financial instrument.
5G-ADRIA will research and analyze what kind of 5G infrastructure is needed to support future transport-related services along the border between Slovenia and Croatia.
The study will consider various aspects of cross-border coordination and the introduction of standardized CAM (connected and automated mobility) services with improved traffic information and management.
It will also work to develop a business model and carry out a study on the profitability and public benefits of cross-border connectivity.
