The mobile operator has upgraded 150 4G base stations to support 5G and announces that it provides approximately 25% coverage of the population. By the end of 2020, Telekom Slovenije expects to surpass 33% coverage.
The operator will soon start to sell 5G mobile phones and will disclose its commercial conditions for the 5G service.
Ericsson announced that Telekom Slovenije is using its Radio Access Network (RAN) and Cloud Core solutions for its 5G commercial rollout.
