The 5G Observatory will be holding its 5th Stakeholder Workshop online on Thursday, 26th October between 10:30 – 13:30.
The workshop is open to all stakeholders interested in 5G, including telecom operators and suppliers, national authorities in charge of telecom, spectrum policy and regulation, as well as representatives from vertical industries (such as transport, logistics, automotive, health, energy, smart factories, media and entertainment) and other organisations considering using 5G.
The European 5G Observatory was launched in September 2018 to monitor market developments and preparatory actions taken by industry stakeholders and Member States in the context of 5G roll-out in Europe, and beyond. Its focus is to monitor the state of play of the 5G network and service deployment in Europe, as well as progress made towards the 5G objectives in the Digital Decade.
This event will be an opportunity to exchange views on the latest market trends and global developments. It will feature a panel session on future needs for 5G service deployment monitoring and reporting for both policy making, especially in the context of the annual monitoring cycle of the Digital Decade Programme. The panel will also address emerging commercial needs to geographically map 5G service availability.
The agenda will be available before the event. Further information and registration are already available here.
We look forward to seeing you online on the 26th of October 2023.
