Most recently, the operator has rolled out its 5G service to the city of Braila.
Orange is expanding both its standard 5G network as well as its standalone network dubbed 5G+. It also claims that a handful of cities now have 100% 5G coverage. These include Arad, Baia Mare and Bucharest.
Orange says its 5G+ network provides speeds up to 1.5 Gbps. It says that recent figures from Netograf.ro, suggest that Orange Romania users had, in the last 6 years, the highest average speeds in Romania, both for both fixed and mobile internet.
