The new product is a compact solution designed for small- to medium-size businesses and the logistics industry.
Nokia has announced the availability of its compact DAC private wireless product. The vendor previously launched the product last year in the US, where it used CBRS spectrum.
The compact private network offering will provide high-performance wireless connectivity for applications, devices, and machines in micro fulfilment centres (MFCs), such as autonomous guided vehicles (AGVs), workers’ handhelds, machines, asset trackers and sensors.
Nokia says the product is designed to meet the specific needs of the logistics market, which is undergoing a major transformation due to the rise of e-commerce and consumer demand which requires faster and more convenient delivery but is also applicable for other industrial small sites.
The private network product will be available in Finland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
