Telefonica, operating in Spain as Movistar, has reportedly activated its first mmWave antennas in Valencia.
Based on the information found on the government website, local media reports Movistar has now activated the first mmWave 5G antennas in its network in Valencia.
Spain held the mmWave auction in December 2022. Three operators won frequencies in the 26 GHz band, with Movistar securing 1 GHz in total.
