The operator says it has invested over €1 billion in its network infrastructure to achieve this coverage level.
MEO, which launched its 5G network on January 1, says 5G is now available in all district capitals. The operator has made its 5G service available at no additional cost for customers until March 31.
The operator also says its 4G network now covers 99.7% of Portugal’s population. The announcement was made by Altice Portugal which owns the MEO brand.
