A new report from the German telecoms regulator suggests that 5G coverage has increased by nearly 10% since July.
The Bundesnetzagentur (BNetzA) says individual mobile operators cover around 37 – 55% of Germany, while the combined coverage now reaches nearly 80% of the German landmass. The data comes from the regulator’s own speed test application as well as data from mobile operators.
BNetzA says that 5G in the country is still partly reliant on non-standalone technology, but that standalone 5G is becoming increasingly widespread.
