Vodafone will launch 5G commercial service on July 3rd in 7 cities (Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool and London).
EE also announced a few days ago that it will go commercial in 16 cities in 2019. Launch is “imminent” in London, Cardiff, Belfast, Edinburgh, Manchester and Birmingham. The following cities will have 5G later this year: Bristol, Coventry, Glasgow, Hull, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Nottingham and Sheffield.
Vodafone will provide the following devices: the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G smartphone, the Samsung S10 5G and Huawei Mate 20 X (5G), the Huawei Mate X and the 5G Gigacube, a 5G home router.
EE will propose the Samsung S10 5G, LG V50 ThinQ, Huawei Mate X, Oppo Reno 5G, HTC 5G Mobile Smart Hub and a 5G OnePlus phone.
