The British network operator says that usage of its 5G network has increased by 385% since 2020.
This was one of the major takeaways from Three’s new report. Titled “Mobile Britain 2022”, it reveals how subscribers are using the operator’s network.
According to the report, Three’s 5G network now carries double the amount of data as the operator’s 3G network. Three says this is the first time this has happened.
Three predicts that 5G will account for 35% of data usage by the end of 2022. The operator also says its 5G network now covers more than 1/3rd of the UK’s population.
