The consortium team presented the latest 5G developments in Europe followed by a panel discussion with stakeholders.
The workshop took place virtually last week. The 5G Observatory team laid out developments from the past 12 months. It recorded spectrum auctions in seven EU Member States as well as a 23% increase in 5G population coverage. The full slides from the consortium team can be downloaded here.
This was followed by a presentation from Slawek Bryska from the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) who presented the agency’s work on the 5G Cybersecurity Toolbox.
Finally, a panel discussion involving various stakeholders from Berec, Vodafone, Ericsson, Ookla, ACIA and Athonet took place. For those unable to attend, a comprehensive event report will be published soon detailing the topics discussed. Slides from guest speakers will also be published in due course.
