Orange Romania launches 5G in three cities

The player became the first in the Orange group to provide 5G services commercially.

Orange Romania launched 5G in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Iasi. The player became the first in the Orange group to provide 5G services commercially. The Orange 5G network offers maximum download speeds of up to 1.2 Gbps and average speeds of 600 Mbps.

Orange offers a bundle including devices and music & TV services. The entire package is available for 25 EUR per month. Customers can access to unlimited data traffic, and unlimited calls and SMS nationally and to 9 GB of mobile data within the EU. On top of that, they get access to content through the Deezer music service and the ‘Family HD Go’ mobile TV package.

In addition, exclusively in the Orange offer, customers can purchase the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G smartphone available in monthly instalments of 47 EUR for a period of 2 years.

Orange has also launched in Romania the Number Share service, which allows clients to use the same mobile number on several connected devices. This feature allows users to talk text and get emails and notifications on whatever device at hand, without requiring a Bluetooth or a Wi-Fi connection.
