At the end of 2025, IDATE DigiWorld forecasts 1.3 billion 5G connections, 5 years after the global launch.

2019 was the year of first 5G launches in advanced mobile markets (Australia, Austria, Finland, Italy, Qatar, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, UK, USA, and more to come).

2020 will also see a number of 5G launches in the world.

eMBB connections will globally account for 90% at YE 2025. eMBB will also take the lion’s share of 5G mobile revenues.
